Sickle cell disease is a genetic disorder with known history of 5000 to 7000 Years. It will take generations to dilute the prevalence and gene frequency specifically in presence of malaria endemicity. Our company ADEETECH and our ngo, RESEARCH is working on skill development of youths from affected tribal and non tribal population groups (SC ST and OBCs). This new generation skilled human resource will contribute for planning strategically how to make more human resource in three major domains of SCD research Epidemiology, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics along with all types of diagnostics, Genetic and Marriage counseling, establishing SCD specific facilities for treatment and management.
